Psalm 85 His Promises to us

"Love and faithfulness meet together; righteousness and peace kiss each other. Faithfulness springs forth from the earth and righteousness looks down from heaven. The Lord will indeed give what is good, and our land will yield its harvest. Righteousness goes before him and prepares the way for his steps." Psalm 85: 10-13.

Let's look at this passage together.

*God's love and his true faithfulness meet together. When you need to feel his love....remember what HE HAS DONE....and how you have come through the storms.

*Righteousness and peace kiss each other. Kissing is one of the closest acts we can have with another person. When you kiss your spouse or your children or your mother--you are physically connected to them for a second. Righteousness with God is being right with God. When we are right with God we are following his ways...not our own. And then the promise of PEACE! I don't know about you--but aren't we all longing for peace!? God's word tells us that is directly connected with OUR righteousness.

*When we need to be reminded of God's faithfulness--LOOK AROUND! Every day He is speaking to us through His creation. Isn't it beautiful that we get to sit around outside in God's creation--studying the psalms. !? He is showing us his faithfulness.

* The Lord will indeed give what is good. Our land will yield it's harvest!

Let's relish in these promises today.
