Psalm 72 - Perfect Leader

Most leaders especially in the political arena have huge hopes and dreams of how effective their leadership will be. I believe most really do want the change they promise but they lack the power and means to do everything they promise which leaves people disappointed and dissatisfied. But as Christians we've joined on the bandwagon with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Not only does he have the vision to deliver hope and justice He has the power to implement it. And He will rule for eternity not just a term. Psalm 72 reminds me of the articles you will find in newspapers a few days before election summarizing a candidates platform helping you decide whom you will vote for. Hmm lets see, all nations will serve him, he will deliver the needy, rescue from oppression and violence, he is eternal, and will rule to the ends of the earth. Where is my ballot, it's a no brainer! This is prophetic of Jesus, the Messiah, and He is who I've put my hope upon. Where do you cast your vote?
Psalm 72 - Questions
1. How does this psalm give you hope to Jesus's coming reign?
2. What kind of leader is Jesus described as here?
3. What can we do now to prepare for His second coming? Will you join the campaign to sway more voters to come to know Jesus or are you just content to be part of the winning ticket?
4. What will Jesus's kingdom be like described here?
